Haunt the Woods
“Remarkably unforced, their songwriting has a plaintive yet entirely natural feel, fusing acoustic songcraft with slight hints of psychedelia.” – Clash
Haunt the Woods are an exciting contemporary folk band from the shires of Cornwall and the Rame Peninsula. With a new and unique sound, incorporating an eclectic blend of traditional and contemporary folk influences, with beautiful melodies and spellbinding guitar, chilling vocals and four-part harmonies, Haunt the Woods have an extraordinary ability to push their heartfelt lyrics into an even more powerful place.
Having just played the Main Stage at Boardmasters, and supported Dry the River and Sunset Sons among others in the last few years, the guys will occupy the penultimate slot at Poltimore Festival 2017, and their live show is something else. Their debut EP, released earlier this year, saw its lead single premiered on Clash, and the support is picking up. This collective is going places, and we couldn't be more excited for you to see them at Poltimore just before they do.
