Directions

Poltimore House is just off the B3181 north of Exeter, signposted Pinhoe and Broadclyst, J29 is the nearest exit from the M5

Bicycle

Cycling from Exeter to Poltimore House will take about half an hour. Bike racks aren’t provided at Poltimore House, although there are many fences and lampposts in the village that could be of use, and makeshift places on site. Poltimore Festival can take no responsibility for the loss of personal property.

Bus

From Exeter City Centre Bus Station (Bay 5), take the 1A bus towards Tiverton, getting off at Broadclyst, Poltimore Gate. Poltimore Festival is a short walk from here. Expected travel time: 21 mins.

From Exeter City Centre, Sidwell Street (Stop 19), take the 1B bus towards Willand and depart at Broadclyst, Poltimore Gate. Poltimore Festival is a short walk from here. Expected travel time: 21 mins.

From Exeter City Centre, Sidwell Street (Stop 19), take the 1 bus towards Tiverton, getting off at Broadclyst, Poltimore Gate. Poltimore Festival is a short walk from here. Expected travel time: 21 mins.

Car

A neighbouring field to Poltimore Festival has kindly offered itself as a FREE CARPARK for festival goers (although donations to help the continuation of Poltimore Festival are more than welcomed). The nearest postcode for your Sat Navs is EX4 0AU.

We kindly request that all cars are removed from this field by the close of the day on 28 May.

Exeter to Poltimore by car takes roughly 15 minutes.

Taxi

There are multiple taxi providers in Exeter: Apple Taxis, Exe Cars, Jack the Hat, Z Cars and Exeter Taxis. We are working to set a fixed rate of travel from Exeter to Poltimore on the day of the festival, but if we’re unsuccessful it’s likely to cost you and your party around £15, with an estimated journey time of 15 minutes.

Walk

For the brave of heart, it will take you around an hour and a half to walk from Exeter to Poltimore. It’s a scenic route, so don’t be deterred, but it wouldn’t be our first choice!
